Custom Aluminium Truck Bodies

Pacific Bodyworks designs and manufactures custom aluminium truck bodies at our Wetherill Park workshop in Sydney. From light truck service bodies for utility crews to heavy-duty steel decks for mining and transport, we build truck bodies that match your work requirements, your vehicle platform, and your fleet standards.

With 35-plus years of experience, our truck bodies are used by some of Australia’s largest organisations including Sydney Water, Endeavour Energy, TransGrid, RMS, Fire and Rescue NSW, and Sydney Trains. We build for trades, government, utilities, emergency services, and mining operations across NSW and the ACT.

Truck Body Types We Build

Custom truck bodies. Every truck body we manufacture starts with your brief. We work from your drawings or create a spec from scratch based on the job your vehicle needs to do. Our custom truck bodies are built for trades, utilities, and fleet operators who need purpose-built solutions that off-the-shelf bodies cannot deliver.

Aluminium truck bodies. Our aluminium truck bodies are, on average, 30 percent lighter than equivalent steel builds without losing structural strength. That weight reduction translates to greater payload capacity, better fuel economy, and lower running costs over the vehicle’s lifespan. Aluminium also resists corrosion, which eliminates the rust problems that shorten the life of steel bodies.

Heavy-duty steel decks and table tops. Not every application calls for aluminium. We also produce heavy-duty steel decks and table tops, finished in 2-pak enamel as standard. These are built for transport, logistics, and applications where maximum load-bearing strength is the priority.

Tipper trays. Custom tipper tray builds for landscaping, earthworks, and waste collection vehicles. Engineered for your chassis and tipping mechanism.

Trade-specific truck bodies. We build truck bodies configured for specific trades including plumbing truck bodies with pipe racking and jetter access, electrical contractor bodies with cable reel mounts and conduit storage, and mining crew bodies with heavy-duty decks and lighting rigs.

Why Pacific Bodyworks for Truck Bodies

Pacific Bodyworks is one of Sydney’s longest-running truck body builders Sydney operations. As a truck bodies manufacturer, we control every stage of the process from design through fabrication and fitting.

Our truck service bodies are used by government agencies, utility providers, and trade businesses that need vehicles built to perform reliably over years of daily use. Our client portfolio speaks to the quality and consistency of our work.

If you need ute-based bodies rather than truck-platform builds, visit our service bodies page. For enclosed storage options, see our canopy bodies range. For multi-vehicle orders, our fleet vehicle solutions program coordinates fleet-scale builds with consistent specs across every unit.

Make-Specific Builds

Different truck platforms have different chassis widths, payload ratings, and mounting requirements. We build truck bodies for all major manufacturers. Our custom Isuzu truck body builds are among our most common, covering the N-Series and F-Series ranges used widely by trades and fleet operators across Sydney.

We also build for Hino, Fuso, and other cab chassis platforms used in Australian commercial fleets.

Materials and Construction

All aluminium bodies are fabricated in-house at our Wetherill Park workshop. We use spray-sealed internal seams for moisture resistance, weatherproof door seals across all access points, and security systems to protect tools and equipment. Every body can be finished in a natural mill finish or painted in your corporate colours.

For steel builds, we use heavy-gauge plate steel with 2-pak enamel finish as standard. Both aluminium and steel bodies are engineered to meet Australian vehicle standards for load restraint and occupational safety.
