ActewAGL Custom Truck Service Body
Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory
ActewAGL are a Canberra based electricity and gas provider, with a fleet of service trucks on the road every day, ready to take on whatever job they’re faced with. As such, only a custom made truck service body would do to equip these vehicles with everything they need.
Specifications to this project included:
- 6 x gas lift storage compartments fitted to driver’s side for keeping multiple sized tools and other materials secured and organised
- 2 x bifold storage compartments fitted to passenger side revealing drawers and shelving for smaller tools and materials
- 1 x fold-down storage compartment and 1 x pull out work bench space fitted to passenger side under cab
- 1 x set of stairs fitted to passenger side
- 1 x heavy duty pull-out draw fitted behind the cab, accessed from the passenger side, for storing larger items
- Spotlights fitted to rear storage for ample lighting during night works
- Hydraulic arm fitted to tray for heavy-duty jobs
- Generator fitted to rear driver’s side tray
- Hose reel fitted to passenger side
- Drop-down sides around the tray
